UBUDISM 'Decide to be yourself'

UBUDISM | WHO AND WHERE?

The idea to start UBUDISM arose in 2017 on the island of Bali. During one of his travels Willem Blokker came into contact with an experienced goldsmith with whom he conceived the plan to start a new label: UBUDISM.

The silverware is produced in UBUD and Celuk, villages in the south-central part of the island. They use traditional production methods to craft their unique and original silverware. UBUDISM uses its own guidelines to inspire and to create its own identity. For example, the label does not distinguish between men's and women's jewelry. Wear what you want, or, as the official phrase goes, "Decide to be yourself." The silversmiths are highly motivated and go for the best quality!

UBUDISM | BRACELETS

The bracelets have a "Sterling Silver hallmark". This way you can be sure of the real silver guarantee. Sterling Silver consists of at least 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. The standard requires the alloy to have a silver content of one thousandth fineness of 925. The designs are designed for men and women, available in 7 sizes: 17 - 18 - 19 - 20 - 21 - 22 - 23 cm.

UBUDISM | LOGO

The logo consists of a praying frog. His hands are folded and he smiles kindly at the world.

Why a praying frog? Owner Blokker: “During my stay in Bali, I was awakened from my sleep for days by a frog. His loud cry drove me crazy. The various attempts to catch him by the pond and place him outside the walls failed. screaming with stones, the next day I repented and thought "I'm a guest here in the tropics, how can I be so cruel and disrespectful to animals ... I must forgive him!" To restore the statue of this animal, he wanted a tattoo of a frog. That tattoo has yet to be done, but the praying frog has become the logo of UBUDISM! A symbol of forgiveness and respect."
